The department was established in 1979 and located at the Clinical sciences (Offices). It started Residency Training in 1980 and since have been training Resident Doctor in Clinical Pharmacology. The Department also provides facilities for training postgraduates students at the University and has research laboratories located at IMRAT since 1989.
Activities of the Department include Patient care services and Laboratory diagnosis services etc.
